A New Beginning

Hi, I'm Sherry Temby of Sherrill Studios.
It's been awhile, hasn't it?
Settle in and see what I've got today.

I hope that this blog finds all of you to be well.
Life just continues to move us forward,
whether I want to go with it or not.
Our littlest Grand-baby Mellie with frosting in her nose.

Through it all my family and friends travel with me.
Thank goodness
for those people
who know you or
are related to you

but still like you.

Evie is my middle granddaughter.

In the last year, there have been holidays, birthdays, times of sadness and times of absolute joy.

Time moves on.

My thought process is that at this time in my life
I need to follow my dream
and see where it takes me.

I'm not getting any younger, you know.

My oldest Granddaughter Leia.

What is my dream....?
It is to do what I do well
and use it to bring joy to other people.
That is simply what it boils down to.

What I want to do is use my creative talents
I want to do it full time.

But
it is so hard to let go
and
see where it will take me.

My grandson Asher.

What do I feel my talents are?
I am a very creative soul.
                 I always have been.
I enjoy the process of creating beautiful things.
I enjoy color, pattern & beauty in all things.

I have been painting in oils for about ten years,
a photographer for about 8 years & polymer clay is a seasonal thing for me at this time.

The photography and painting go hand in hand.

This is Al Temby, my husband.  He puts up with me.

I currently am employed at a job three days a week and I work my Studio the other 4 days in a week.

S'mores anyone?

What I plan on doing is showing some of my work through this site and on my upcoming web page.

This is Molly.  She lives in Kempton, IN.

I am looking for someone
to help me on the set up of the web page
because I'm an artist,
not a computer person.

I took this on the fourth of July.  Remember how hot it was then?

I realize that there are a lot of people out there with a camera who think they are photographers.

I think that you will find that I have
"an eye"
for the balance
and the beauty of things.
I think as an artist that just enters into it naturally.

I photograph anything and everything.

Weddings

Birthday Parties

Melody's 1st birthday

I love these guys.

Ash's birthday

Just about anything, really.

Mom and dad

Evie at the park

Blue ice cream

Posing for Grandma

Grandma, look at this bug!

So that is some examples of my photography.
I hope you enjoyed it.

Do you have an event that you would like photographed?

I photograph
children
animals
and
just about anything else you can think of.

And this is what I am going to do.
I am stepping out in faith.

You can contact me through this site, Facebook or drop me a call at the studio.

Let's do something creative and unique.

Until next week
STAY WARM,

Sherry
